The standard work is 40 hours a week and eight hours a day.
Female employees are entitled to 12 weeks of paid maternity leave. There is no paternity leave in Sierra Leone.
Employees are entitled to 19 days paid annual leave, which increases with years of service.
Employees generally receive at least five paid sick leave days annually.
Bonuses are not required.
The notice period is one week to one month. Severance is generally determined by individual and collective bargaining agreements.
