Working hours

The standard work week for most professions is 40 hours over five days.

Maternity / Paternity Leave

Female employees receive 126 days of maternity leave. Male employees receive 30 days of paternity leave.

Vacation Leave

Employees receive 20 days of annual paid leave to start and additional days based on years of service.

Sick Leave

Employees in Lithuania are eligible for paid sick leave until they either return to work or are declared disabled and unable to work.

Bonus Payments

Bonuses may be paid at the discretion of the employer.

Employment Termination Severance

Notice is between two weeks and one month, but may be longer in certain cases. Severance starts at twice the monthly average salary and increases with years of service.
